Hyundai Elevator Company held a scholarship awarding ceremony for students in Chungju district with the presence of scholarship recipients and teachers.
Donation of scholarship to students of Chungju district by Hyundai Elevator Company
On September 9, Hyundai Elevator held a ceremony to award scholarships to students in Chungju district. The event was attended by scholarship recipients, teachers, the CEO of Hyundai Elevator, and Chungju municipal officials.
About 30 high school students with outstanding grades, recommended by local governments in Chungju District, received scholarships worth 30 million won under the Chungju District Student Scholarship Program. Hyundai Elevator has been providing scholarships to young people for 16 years.
The total number of recipients reached 318 students this year. In addition to scholarships, Hyundai Elevator donated 20 million won to low-income families.

CEO Jae Cheon Cho said, “One of the most meaningful management activities based on Hyundai Elevator’s business philosophy is to help young people pursue their dreams and face the challenges of the future. We will extend our support to gifted students in the Chungju district.”
In addition to awarding scholarships to students in the Chungju area, Hyundai Elevator is working to nurture local talent by opening a training course on elevator installation and operation in cooperation with Chungju Technical High School this year.
