Firefighters in Berlin have found a body in an elevator shaft at the International Congress Center after extinguishing a fire, and the investigation is ongoing.

Munich Eye reported on February 4 that a body had been found in an elevator at the International Congress Center in Berlin after firefighters extinguished a fire in the elevator shaft. The identity of the man is currently unknown and an investigation is ongoing to determine whether he died in the fire or before the incident, according to a spokesman for the fire department dispatched to the scene.

No other damage was reported from the incident. No further details about the cause of the fire have been released as authorities continue to investigate. The body found in the elevator at the International Congress Center in Berlin is still under investigation and the investigation is ongoing.
