Residential elevator installation is always a big deal in such projects. According to Fujitech Elevator, the company has delivered a five-unit residential elevator installation system for a nine-story building on 335th Street.
The residential building was designed by COOKFOX Architects and developed by MAG Partners and Mutual Reevelopment Houses in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York. The project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of this year, according to Cabin News, citing New York YIMBY.

The residential elevator installation system consists of three traction passenger elevators without engine rooms that travel at a speed of 350 feet per minute with a maximum capacity of 3,500 pounds on eight or nine floors, a hydraulic service elevator that travels at a speed of 80 feet per minute with a capacity of 8,000 pounds, and a fire service elevator that travels at a speed of 8,000 pounds per minute.
The 200,000-square-foot property features 188 one-bedroom rental units, a supermarket and a range of amenities, and has achieved Passive House and LEED Gold certifications.
