According to the Architects Journal, the city of London has approved Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF)’s proposals for a 32-story tower. This design involves the renovation of a 132-meter space from a 23-year-old retail and office building at 70 Gracechurch Street, northwest of the Walkie Talkie building.
KPF’s proposal also includes a public gallery on the rooftop, green space, and a cultural area on the ground floor. This design is a renovation of a previous 33-story proposal approved in 2021, but KPF had to consult on revised plans in 2024 after the site developer sold it in 2022.

KPF now proposes to clad the existing building with stone, and this building renovation in London is expected to be completed and operational by 2032.
