KONE announced the installation of an elevator for Panda Tower in the future. The order includes a set of vertical transportation solutions for a new tower in Chengdu, western China, with a height of 489 meters. This 95-story structure provides office, hotel and retail space.
The elevator installation order for Panda Tower includes the installation of 24 KONE MiniSpace elevators and five KONE MonoSpace elevators and a two-year maintenance contract, as well as the use of KONE UltraRope technology, KONE E-Link system and KONE 24/7 Connected Services to ensure The function of elevators. The tower is expected to be completed in 2027 and the Panda Tower is said to be the tallest tower in Chengdu.
