Hyundai Elevator has announced that it has started the development of the Vertiport system, one of its key projects to improve urban air traffic. Vertiport will be a site for controlling the takeoff and landing of UAM center aircraft.
Hyundai Elevator Company will carry out this project from April 2024 to December 2026. This company was selected by the Ministry of Transportation Infrastructure Development of Korea as the executive organization for the planning and development of the monitoring system and the design and construction system of Vertiport.
Hyundai Elevator will carry out the project in cooperation with Lotte E&C, a certification institute in Korea, and Korea National University of Transportation.
