According to an announcement by Otis to ELEVATOR WORLD, the company is providing elevators for the Gowanus Towers. These towers are located in the 420 Carroll Street residential complex in New York.
The design and development of these 20- and 15-story towers is the responsibility of FXCollaborative and Domain Properties, respectively. The elevators in these towers include five Gen3 PeakTM elevators and one hydraulic elevator, all equipped with Otis ONETM Internet of Things technology. Providing elevators for Gowanus Towers by Otis combines modern technology and high performance elevators to provide an unparalleled experience for residents.
According to New York YIMBY, the 420 Carroll Street building is in the process of achieving LEED Platinum certification, and the project is slated for completion in the spring of 2025. The project includes 360 residential units, 27,500 square feet of commercial units and a general tourism area. Mega Contracting Group is the general contractor in this project.
