According to Cabin News, citing the Utusan Malaysia news agency, a technical failure led to children being trapped in an elevator in Kuala Lumpur. These two children, 10 and 11 years old, were stuck in the elevator for 9 hours yesterday.
According to the research, one of the relatives of the 10-year-old child talked about the details of the incident. He said: My niece left home at 2:00 PM to buy bread and meet one of her friends. But when there was no news from him for several hours, we started searching the areas around the house. It was around 10 pm but there was still no news of my niece.

After several hours of children being trapped in an elevator in Kuala Lumpur, the children finally got out of the elevator safely at around 1 am. They say they pressed the alarm when the elevator got stuck. But unfortunately, the alarm was broken and this caused no one to know about their presence in the elevator.
The children left the elevator very hungry and tired. According to reports, no one went to help them and luckily the elevator restarted and the doors opened and the children were able to get out.
After conducting the investigation, the police said: “We are very happy that both children are safe and we continue to conduct investigations to find out the cause of the failure and the technical fault of the elevator.”
