For example, Hattie Tai is a 72-year-old who lives on the third floor of this complex. He has polio since he was a child, and now he has a lot of problems to get around due to the breakdown of the elevator.
In July, after many complaints, NBC6 first reported on the issue and interviewed Hattie Tai. After the broadcast of this interview, it was announced that the elevator repairs will begin soon. However, after numerous repairs, the elevator continues to malfunction and is not safe to use. The elevator has been broken for about six weeks now.
According to the residents, a few weeks ago a team came to repair the elevator and restarted it. But only a few days later, the elevator broke down again. In one case, a 75-year-old man was stuck in an elevator for 15 minutes. This issue caused more residents to worry and fear to use the elevator.
The reason for the continuous failure of the elevator of this complex is still being investigated and unfortunately none of the managers and officials are responsible for this issue.
