The India Metro station elevator accident left a 31-year-old senior mechanical engineer dead and a foreman injured. The incident took place on November 20 near the Hairderpur metro station in Delhi, India, when a wire in the elevator broke and the elevator fell.

According to reports, the two men were in the elevator inspecting a connection to a metro line at a height of 60 to 70 feet. Police said the two victims worked for a company that had a contract with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
