G-Tech to Provide Elevators for New Brooklyn Tower
G-Tech Elevator Company told ELEVATOR WORLD that the company will install elevators for the new Brooklyn Tower, a 13-story residential tower recently completed in Gowanus, Brooklyn, New York.
The building will be served by two machine-roomless traction elevators traveling at 350 feet per minute. One has a 3,500-pound capacity that travels 14 floors (including basement level) and the other has a 2,100-pound capacity that travels 13 floors.

The new Brooklyn Tower elevator suite consists of BTS elevator packages with GAL door equipment paired with Pixel Control elevator controllers and Imperial machines. The 200,000-square-foot structure, designed by L+Z Architecture, will be equipped with a 2,000-square-foot elevator system, according to Cabin News, citing New York YIMBY. Developed by Avery Hall and Gindi Capital, it features a charcoal-colored facade, a landscaped rooftop terrace, a pool and commercial units.
