Reliable Canadian news sources announced the choice of TKE company to install elevators and escalators in the tallest office building in Canada. The company has been selected to provide vertical transportation (VT) systems and equipment to the tallest tower at CIBC Square, Canada, TK Elevator announced on May 8. This tower has 50 floors. A number of elevators and escalators of different types are supposed to be installed in this tower.
These include 36 gearless passenger elevators, 4 high-density elevators, 4 service elevators, and 8 escalators. In this square, there is another tower with 49 floors, the opening of which belongs to 2022.
The tower includes 10 escalators, 49 gearless elevators and 4 service elevators installed by TK Elevator. After choosing TKE to install elevators in the 50-story office tower, it also signed a service and maintenance contract for all elevator and escalator systems in both towers.
